Canadian Experience Class

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is an immigration program that allows foreign nationals who have worked in Canada to become permanent residents. This program is designed to help foreign nationals who have gained Canadian work experience and have the skills and knowledge to contribute to the Canadian economy.

The CEC program is open to foreign nationals who have at least 12 months of full-time (or an equal amount in part-time) skilled work experience in Canada in the three years before they apply. The work experience must be in an occupation that is classified as Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification list.

In order to be eligible for the CEC program, applicants must meet certain criteria. They must have a minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 in either English or French for all four language abilities (speaking, reading, writing and listening). They must also have a valid work permit and be either working in Canada or have left their job in Canada no more than six months before applying.

Applicants must also demonstrate that they have the funds to support themselves and their family after they arrive in Canada. They must also pass medical and security checks.

Once an applicant has met all the requirements, they can apply for permanent residence under the CEC program. The application process includes submitting an online application, providing supporting documents, and attending an interview with an immigration officer.

The CEC program is an excellent opportunity for foreign nationals who have gained Canadian work experience to become permanent residents. It is a great way to contribute to the Canadian economy and to build a life in Canada.
